Diane Pogasic's Medical Fund

Just a couple of weeks ago, Diane was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer. She and her family immediately began researching her best possible chance for a complete recovery. 

After countless hours on the phone with insurance companies, meetings with doctors, and a trip to Michigan, it was decided that she will begin her treatment in Florida where she is currently living, and then relocate to Michigan for surgery. In Michigan, Diane will benefit from the care and support of friends and family and the knowledge and talent of the surgical team at U of M. 

Unfortunately, even for those with medical insurance, cancer treatment comes with a hefty price tag. This diagnosis has already created an enormous financial burden on Diane and her fiancée, Tom. They will incur travel expenses, uncovered medical costs, housing costs, and of course, lost wages. 

Diane will likely be out of work for the year. I began this campaign because I wanted to help relieve some of the stress she and Tom are feeling from the overwhelming and life changing burden that is cancer.  Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute to help them during this difficult time in their lives.
