Back in 2008, Diane was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma), which she bravely battled by undergoing a bilateral mastectomy, removal of numerous lymph nodes, several rounds of chemotherapy, and taking a number of follow up maintenance drugs over the years.
She was fortunate to be considered cancer free up until July 2017 when she was once again diagnosed with breast cancer, this time metastatic (MBC) that had taken hold in her liver, lungs, and bones so far.
Diane has recently completed 12 rounds of chemotherapy as well as taken many other maintenance drugs in an effort to shrink the numerous tumors. Because modern medicine hasn’t yet made the advances to cure her, she has turned to Integrative Medical treatments, which has been working at fighting off the spread of the cancer in addition to helping her feel better. A day that she can feel somewhat “normal” is a huge blessing at this point.
Although health insurance has helped pay for many of the growing costs, Integrative Medicine is not covered by insurance and the costs are high. She typically pays about $900 a week in treatment and medicine costs.

Diane and Rob, have three wonderful children (Jake, Delaney, and Chloe) that are all currently in college, two out of state.
Anyone that knows Diane, knows that she is one of the most sweet, loving and caring people around. She can rarely be seen without a smile on her face, even as she is battling this terrible disease and keeping much of her pain hidden away.
