My Dearest best friend Diane is needing all of our love and support. Everyone who knows Diane can tell you what a beatiful person she is from the inside and out. She has this warm and loving smile for everyone she meets. But lately I have not seen her smile and with good reason. It breaks my heart to see her suffering.
Diane was diagnosed with colon cancer in May 2017.
The news was devasting to her and the family and friends that love her dearly. I have been trying to find the right words to tell her story but its very difficult to put into words to tell you just how much this cancer has changed her life.
After receiving the devasting news that she had colon cancer her health started taking a turn for the worse and her life changed dramatically. Diane recently suffered a heart attack due to a blood clot in her lower major artery of her heart. She stayed in the hospital for eight days recovering. The heart attack was a complication from the cancer. She also suffers from an infection right behind the cancer that is being treated with intervenous antibiotics. This infection will remain until she starts the radiation and chemotherapy in the fall. If this ball of infection should open or break apart the poison will spread and travel all through her body resulting in septic shock.
Diane is self employed cleaning her customers houses. Due to the physical nature of her job she has been unable to work since last May 2017 . She has no sick benefits and no income since May 2017.
The last thing a person with any illness needs is the stress that money can cause. But I am hoping that we can all help her so she can focus on getting better.
I hope that her friends will read this and support Diane as we know that she would be the first to return the favour. Cancer needs to stop taking the people we love away from us .... I know that Diane will beat this because she is strong and we can help her with our support.
