Diana's Delinquent's - Cancer Fight

This Go Fund Me account has been created to help our amazing friend Diana Cannizo and her family during her fight with cancer. She and her family are starting a rough road ahead of them with hospital stays, chemotherapy, recovery, loss of work and so much more. We are here for Diana and her husband Dan and her two beautiful children during this difficult time in their lives. Together we can help our strong, beautiful friend Kick Cancer's Ass!!!

I've been holding onto some news that my family has received for about a week now. I've been trying to find the right time to tell everyone. I guess now is as good as any. To make a long process short I found a lump in my breast. I had a biopsy. My tests came back as breast cancer. So there it is. I have Breast Cancer. It's hard to digest. As much as I can I've come to terms with the fight I have ahead of me. I'll give you all the details I know right now so you're not left hanging with questions. I have Invasive lobular carcinoma. I will be having a mastectomy with reconstruction after. I do not know the stage but they feel that I found it early and we are getting it taken care of quickly. The cancer is "relatively small" to use my surgeons terms a T1. Because I am so young they want to treat aggressively. So possibly chemo after surgery. It's not the genetic kind. It's the very bad luck kind. I don't have a surgery date but I'm hoping very soon. My general surgeon and plastic surgeon need to find a coordinating time. That's about all I know. I could use anything you all have right now and in the coming months. Prayers, thoughts, sacrifices lol....anything helps me. I will try and keep you updated. My family and I are still reeling so we appreciate all of your concerns but may not be able to get to all of you immediately. I'm in for the fight of my life so let's do this!
