Christmas time can be a particularly stressful for families, as it usually coincides with added expenses around educational costs and holidays. Disadvantage and financial hardship affect families in our community through things like being a single parent family, having a disability or having a change in circumstance, like a significant illness, unexpected unemployment or death in the family.
This year, in partnership with a number of local community organisations, DVCS is delivering the Diamond Valley Gift Appeal, to support those families in the Diamond Valley region who are experiencing financial hardship. The Diamond Valley Gift Appeal will provide toy parcels and/or gift cards for children aged 0 to 16 years, and bring some much needed relief at Christmas time.

Diamond Valley Community Support (DVCS) is a leading non-profit community organsiation delivering emergency relief, material aid, referral and information services to communities in Banyule and Nillumbik.
