Diamond Defeats Asthma

Meet Diamond, last weekend she was having the time of her life with her parents and siblings as they engaged in a family tradition at Adventure Land the weekend before the Fourth of July.

 

After their first day at the amusement park she was worn out and went for a swim with her sister, next thing you know she began having an asthma attack. After trying to calm the attack with her inhaler wasn't successful she started a breathing treatment when suddenly she passed out due to low oxygen. After rushing her to the nearest emergency room, they put her on life support.

 

She is 15 years old and entering her junior year of high school. She maintains great grades and is also a part of her high school's color guard. Diamond is described by her family as being very thoughtful, loving and hilarious. They often recall all the funny moments Diamond has on a daily basis.

 

 This health emergency has placed significant financial strain on her family, she hasn't returned home and is receiving treatment out of state. While she has made progress since last weekend and is off life support, she still has progress to be made. With the help of your donations we hope to bring her home for treatment once she's in a better place.
