Diabetes Service Animal

I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for over 22 years and with this comes some challenges. I do not respond or pick up on low and high blood sugars as often as I used to and this had led to some everyday challenges and multiple close calls.

I have always had amazing roommates that have been supportive and have come to rescue on many occasions due to my disease and appreciate all of them more than they will ever know but as I am turning 31 this year I am realizing that I need to have freedom of my own. I would like to be able to travel without having a companion and worrying about going anywhere alone.

I am looking for assistance with purchasing a diabetic service dog so I can have to freedom to feel safe, regardless of where I go. My biggest fear is getting a low blood sugar at night and waking up incoherent which has happened more than enough times and has created a unhealthy fear of death in my life.

I would appreciate any denomination in which you could donate to this cause as I am just not in a place to spend 15000+ on a service dog at this time.

My service dog is on his way. His name is Copper and he is an 8 month old Vizsla. He will be in training until around September. Before they will deliver him to me I need to reach the 7500 mark. Please help me reach my goal and bring my lifesaver home!
