The Mackenzie Hatch Fund

On Sunday, August 17, 2014, The Hatch family had a traumatic event happen to their youngest daughter Mackenzie. She fell out of their second story window while trying to see a Mariachi band that was playing in the yard next door.
Mackenzie was flown by helicopter to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose California where she stayed and was released two days later with a fractured skull around her right eye.
She is now recovering at home and making good progress but it will be a slow recovery for Mackenzie. At this time they are not sure when she will be able to return to school, swing, play on the playground or outside with her sister and she is out for the rest of the cheer season.
Throughout her recovery she will have to make several visits to doctors and specialists.
The Hatch family has a long recovery where Mark and Candace will be taking time off from work to help Mackenzie in her long journey.
