Caleb Whittall (ALS)

Caleb Whittall is a father of two beautiful children Avery (3) and Corbyn (5). Caleb was recently diagnosed with ALS at the young age of 29. There is no known cure for ALS and he will lose his life to this terrible disease. ALS is a sister disease to ALD which is what took my sons life at the age of 8 nearly 5 years ago. The process his family will watch take place over the next few years is heart breaking. His family will need a great amount of emotional and financial support. I was so fortunate to have been given a wonderful gift from Make-A-Wish. They sent my family to Disney World while my son was still able to participate in having fun. We had so much fun and great memories were made for our family! I am forever grateful for what Make-A-Wish made happen for us and I knew if ever given an opportunity to help another family in that kind of situation I would do it! So I have created this donation site in hopes of giving him the same type of gift that was given to my family. With all of the ALS awareness and funds being given to research I cannot help but worry about the ones who are already fighting this terrible battle. They need help now! Please join me in giving these children something to remember their dad by and giving their dad sweet precious moments filled with smiles and laughter. As Calebs disease progresses and he will be unable to participate in making new memories with his children, my hope is he will be able to reflect back on the memories made possible by the people who have donated to this fund.
