Nursing in Nepal

We are a group of 8 nursing students in our final year of university studies. As part of our final clinical placement we are heading to Pokhara in Nepal. Our placement begins in November this year and we will be working in both a hospital and in a remote community. This placement will provide both a great opportunity for us as nursing students to learn about different cultures and obtain an insight into third world communities and healthcare, as well as being able to provide much needed basic healthcare and education to the Nepalese community.
We are raising funds to go towards purchasing healthcare supplies to gift to the people of Nepal.
