Emma's Dilemma!!

Donation protected
My coworker Officer Gabe Parker and his wife Shannon's 8 year old daughter Emma was diagnosed with leukemia in late July. Emma has been hospitalized since her diagnosis and has had to fight many obstacles in this past month. She was diagnosed with iAMP21 which effects 1-2% of leukemia patients. It has a higher reoccurrence of leukemia, harder to get rid of and harder to treat. She has been in and out of ICU during her stay, receiving her chemo and dealing with what comes with it, like losing your hair, she has had heart issues, cardiograms, X-rays, fevers, kidney problems, blood cultures, bronchoscopy, spinal tap, bone marrow extract, and many other things I don't even know about but I do know that any 8 year old shouldn't have to go through. Emma is a fighter! Her outgoing personality is infectious and she is a warm hearted, loving young lady. Her brother just started high school and is playing football and sees her as often as he can. Her parents are by her side non-stop. They are already starting to see the bills come in but of course, they don't care about the bills they just want their daughter to be cancer free. Once Emma is healthy enough to go home, she will have to be home schooled for at least a year and maybe longer. Eventually, this is going to cause an impact financially on the family. I want them to be able to focus on what's in front of them and that is why I am asking you to donate ANY amount you can to help this wonderful kind family. Stay strong Emma!!!  XOXO
