DGF Cal Ripken drive to Regionals
Donation protected
The Dilworth Glyndon Felton Athletic Club was formed as a non-profit organization in 2014 to provide an opportunity for 10-12 year olds in the DGF school district the chance to play Cal Ripken baseball. In the three short years - we have had over 80 boys participate in our program.
This past weekend - the DGF12u Cal Ripken team won the 12u State Championship in Breckenridge MN, winning all 4 games, and in the process earned the honor to represent the state of Minnesota at the Midwest Plains Regional Tournament in Garden City, Kansas - July 19th-23rd.
While this is not only a fantastic opportunity and experience for the boys, it also is a significant financial investment for the families and players to get to Kansas to pursue the dream of a regional championship, and a trip to the Cal Ripken World series in Clemmons, North Carolina.
We are hoping to quickly raise money to ensure that our players, and their families are able to continue the journey as a baseball family. We have been blessed by our immediate communities to start our baseball program, and while they continue to be very supportive, we realize we need to reach out farther, and faster, in hopes of finding additional support
Words are insufficient to thank you for your financial support and consideration towards ou r goal, But we hope a large THANK YOU will do the part.
