My name is Bailey, im 24 years old and I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on December 9th 2012. Multiple sclerosis or MS is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, resulting in loss of muscle control, vision, balance, and sensation (such as numbness). With MS, the nerves of the brain and spinal cord are damaged by one's own immune system. Thus, the condition is called an autoimmune disease.
This donation is going towards a walk that I am going to in November. The money raised will support life-changing programs and cutting-edge research that help people who are diagnosed with this debilitating disease.
