Some people have had the good fortune to meet Liz Garner and call her a friend. For those that haven't, she is loyal, bright and cheerful and always willing to make things better for someone else. I know because she has helped me. I'm sure she has been similarly helpful to many of you. Now, I want to give back to Liz and help her!
On July 11, she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, breast cancer. On August 11, doctors removed the cancerous growth and on September 15th, she began the most difficult part of having cancer, treatment. Chemotherapy is grueling and takes a toll on the body, as well as the mind and spirit. While Liz goes through treatment, the daily worries about medical bills and living expenses should not be her concern.
Liz would never ask for our help, because that is her. She doesn't ask for help, yet finds every chance she can to give back to so many. Many people have asked, "what can I do to help?" This is it. Any amount of money you can give towards this fund will be deeply appreciated and the greatest gift we could give her. Donations can be any amount. No gift is too small.
