Help for Jackie

Jackie is a young 25 year old daughter of my good friend Jody Hill who was recently diagnosed with this nasty flu going around and is suffering from serious complications now. She is married and has 4 young children who need her to get well. Her husband is the bread winner of the family and cannot take off work without not getting paid, they are really going to need help with medical bills and other day to day expenses. This is my friend Jody’s latest update on her daughter Jackie;

Update on Jackie Johnson seeing my baby girl laying there sedated with all the tubes and seeing her hands strapped to the bed was the hardest things I've ever seen... Anyone who knows Jackie would agree that not seeing her spunky is very hard to grasp... I put a glove on and held her hand and the first thing I thought of was how much she hates to be touched... Lol... I had to laugh a little to myself because she couldn't stop me.... Her brother Zack stood beside me and held my hand and said a prayer over her and I know she heard it!

So this is what's going on... She has sepsis... Pneumonia.. Strep throat.. And the flu... So she has a viral and a bacterial infection... They intabated her so that her lungs are relaxed to heal properly.. They have 6 specialists monitoring her labs and vitals and they have UW on stand by.. They said the only thing that she has going for her is her age being only 25... The doctor is hoping by Tuesday they may be able to take the tube out depending on how everything looks..her blood pressure did come up on its own with just fluids and no medicine.. So that was good to hear..

I can not even express in words how thankful I am for so many people lending a helping hand... Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart... I can't wait until Jackie is able to read all of this and sees the overflowing amount of love everyone has for her... ♥ ♥
