DFW Cats find their forever homes!
Donation protected
Denton has a cat problem, too many cats and not enough homes. These cats deserve to have homes that love them. Somewhere they can be comfortable, confident, and cared for.
Hi, my name is Kris, and I have always had a love for cats. After having a childhood cat for about 17 years, I have many fond memories of me and her together. I understand how much joy cats can bring to people's lives first-hand. I want to give that opportunity to as many people as I can, and I want to give these animals a second chance at living a good life. That is what inspired me to open Cats and Coffee, Dentons' very first Cat Cafe!
A place to find your best friend.
Every dollar counts towards this goal, so anything you are able to donate is HUGELY appreciated not only by me, but also by the shelters and cats this will benefit!
Design
Our design will be centered around 2 different rooms:
The main room is the cafe, where you can come to drink some coffee, hang out with friends, or relax after a stressful day. We want you to feel like you're home.
The other half of the cafe will be for all of our furry friends! We plan to partner with local shelters such as DASF to help relieve their overpopulated shelters. By doing this, we give cats a wonderful opportunity to show their true personalities, be comfortable in their environment, and a higher chance of being adopted!
Don't worry about kitty germs, all the food and drinks will be prepared in a closed-off kitchen location, away from any sort of germs. Also, we will be selling mini lint rollers and have disinfectant on hand so you can head straight to class or wherever you need to be!
Conclusion
I love this idea in Denton as much as Denton does, let's make it a reality!
*P.S. We have merchandise coming out soon! (Hats, sweaters and t-shirts)
Instagram is the place to find out when the merchandise is releasing, if you DM me a screensho
