My name is Juanita Martin and I am writing this on behalf of all of my family. As hard as this is to say, we are trying to bring my brother home to die with his family.
Let me start at the beginning so you will get a better grasp of the situation.
Our brother, son, brother in law, cousin, and Uncle, Cameron Conrad, was working in Grand Prairie when he fell ill. He went back and forth to the Dr's and they could not find out what exactly was wrong with him. Then the pain hit and they thought at one point he had shingles. One Friday in November the pain was so bad that he went to Emergency where they admitted him and found out he has lung cancer which has spread to the bone. By this point it was in his hip, rib and lungs.
They admitted him to a hospital in Calgary where he has been, since being diagnosed. They have only given him months to live. The Dr's have been trying to regulate the pain so he can come home to spend his last months with the family but, he is unable to sit up for six hours on a commercial aircraft. This is where Gofund comes into the picture. We can get him home by Medevac Canada but the cost is much more then we as a family can manage. The cost is $47,000.00 and we know this is alot of money, but we also know Cameron has alot of friends.
If we are unable to raise the money to get him home, all money will be refunded back.
I hope you can find it in your heart to help bring Cameron home, any donation, small or large, will go a long way.
