A MOTHER’S PLEA! (Names & details are being withheld; as this is an on going investigation to prosecute the true culprit)
My 19 year old college student has been arrested and charged with a crime that HE DID NOT COMMIT!
Why, you may ask…because he is a victim of mistaken identity. This model-citizen young man was charged for a serious crime which he clearly had no involvement in because he was in school and documented on campus well over 90 miles away from where the incident occurred. But because the detectives felt they had a positive id of the young man who resembled my son, a warrant for his arrest was issued and he was later picked up in college without allowing him to prove where he was during the time of the crime. Our son, brother and nephew has been model citizen; never getting into trouble in school, or at home. He has been blessed to receive a full ride D1 Scholarship, which is in jeopardy because of these allegations. He has worked really hard to get to where he is and his family and friends are determined to help him stay there and reach his full potential.
We have obtained the assistance of an attorney to help us navigate through this situation. The attorney’s retainer fee is usually $10,000 but an immediate blessing from the Lord decreased it down to $5,000. I’m asking for the help of my family, friends, community and any others who can see the injustice in this situation. (A stolen Identity can be done many ways; more than what we normally think we know of).

Please parents, neighbors, teachers, friends, coaches share this message with everyone that you know. Our youth need to be aware that their life can also be mistakenly altered at no fault of their own. I want them to to learn this lesson now without having to feel the pain our son is feeling right now.
