DFG (Damn Freakin Good) Noodles

Donation protected

Dear Friend and Family,

Years ago, I realized that "when you pursue your dreams, the world conspires to make it happen". Every door out there has seemingly swung open for me to make DFG (Damn Freakin Good) Noodles, a mobile food trailer serving Asian Noodles in Austin, Texas come true, but I need your help to open one final door for me before we open on 3rd of May 2013.

For those of you who know me, I have never asked for anyone to invest in my business. Maybe because of my pride but mostly because I have never had the audacity to fail with other people's hard earned savings. For the first time, I finally have the courage to ask because it's food. It's the one lifelong dream I was always told not to pursue and it's the only thing I have always had a deep and loyal passion for.

I have cashed everything in. My 2.5 year old son Cameron and I will lose everything if I don't make this work. I must and I will.

Today, I am asking you to support me and my pursuit of making people deliriously happy through food by donating as much as you are willing to help me with.

I need your urgent help to raise $25,900 by this month of April. I've come up with some gifts to show my gratitude, but know that there are no gifts or words that will show you how thankful I am.

There are rewards/barters in exchange for your donation if you are interested. Check out the different levels of support. If you are want to lend me capital for a short term period instead of donating, please let me know! I am open to anything!

Here is where the $25,900 will be invested: (email me for the full P&L, Startup Costs, Operational Costs. This below is a super consolidated list)

About DFG (Dang Freakin Good) Noodles:
DFG Noodles, owned and operated by Cheryl Cunningham, former private Chef for Steven Seagal, is the one and only Mobile Noodles Eatery serving up original and authentic noodle recipes straight from Southeast Asia.

About Me:
Most of you know my about my Acting career. What you may not know and that I've only recently discovered is that there is nothing I love more than giving people an experience of a lifetime. This translates into every thing that I pursue. Steven Seagal saw this and was kind enough to give me an opportunity to show him my passion and talent in cooking. I was entrusted to feed his then-pregnant wife, his whole entourage of 13 and countless number of high profile VIP visitors. The rest was history. It's not often that one leads the kind of whirlwind of a life I've had, but I still have not had the satisfaction of saying I've accomplished my greatest dream. It is time and I am ready to use my cooking skills developed since 7 years old and my 6 years of food and beverage experience. I am all in. I have cashed out and invested every dime of savings into this. Once again, it must work, it has to work, and I will make it work.

The Trailer & Current Status:
Following the "Keep Austin Weird" theme, the serving side of our 16ft trailer will be plastered with a picture of a bowl of noodles. Suspended above the truck will be chopsticks. Hanging off the chopsticks will be the letters "D", "F", "G", hooked on to the bottom of each other and finally with the word "Noodles" made to look like noodles, dipping into the bowl. DFG's slogan: "Go ahead, get addicted", will be on the bowl.

The opposite side of the trailer will be plastered with bumper stickers that attest to or relate to our food such as "My Body is Ready".

The kitchen will serve primarily noodles with one rice dish.

The trailer is currently being remodeled by Jeremy Bustillos, THE food trailer contractor of Austin. He has worked on the best and most renowned in Austin and he is working on DFG! Completion date is set for end of April. He is gutting out the trailer, while working on the exterior so the trailer will be ready for by April 15th for the PR team to take photos and begin promoting.

We will be there at every one of their 8 races as well as special / corporate events.

DFG Noodles will be developing it's local followings crowd while situated at 5th and Colorado, in the heart of downtown Austin during weekday business hours.

DFG Noodles will move to the Lamar and Barton Springs location (right beside the highly patronized H2O Carwash) during the evening hours of Mon - Wed  evenings to capture the evening neighborhood crowd.
