Where do I start with this amazing women, Natalie, mum of our 4 beautiful children, usually a very independent women with 3 jobs, whose world was turned upside down a few months ago.
This all started back in September with Natalie passing out 8 times in one day and following 3 hospital admissions, numerous brain and body scans, she has finally been given a diagnoses of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
This has affected Natalie's Mobility and has resulted in her being wheel chair bound for the last 2 months and she now misses out on normal daily life routines, from working, doing the school runs, to watching her children progress in their sports clubs every week which is a strain on any parent.
Natalie has been referred to an FND specialist via the NHS but this could be months until she gets an appointment and with things progressively getting worse, playing the waiting game is painful, not just for Natalie, but for her family as well.
Just recently, Natalie has be having multiple seizures daily and it can happen at any time, and after her seizures she looses her speech and is unable to communicate verbally.
To see the suffering that Natalie goes through daily, we would like to try all avenues to help speed this process up and seek private care.
We all have hope that through seeing a specialist, this could result in helping Natalie and her family in understanding how to deal with this and we all pray that it could help Natalie make some progress in being able to live a near to normal life. x
