Empowering girls through sports!

My name is Deziree Conklin, I am 14 years old and I have this great opportunity to study abroad. The program of my choice is Empowering Girls Through Sports. I will be traveling to Tanzania July 8th, 2018 through the 28th. Not only will I be playing sports but I will also be experiencing a different culture and way of life. I've been an athlete all my life and sports has helped me overcome so much. Going through with this program is a combination of two things I have a passion for: Helping others and sports. As you can imagine this journey will be very expensive for me. I will appreciate any contribution because anything will help. Thank you!
