Deyanira Cruz is a mother of 2. She has a daughter, 25 years old and a 14-year-old son. She is 53 years old and in April of 2018, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has not been able to work and the family has exhausted all of their finances to cover her medication and treatment which is what has moved her close friends to start this gofundme on her behalf.  She has opted for alternative medicine which she feels gives her a better chance at beating this awful illness but as we know this kind of treatment is not covered by health insurance. The treatment she is seeking is offered at The Gerson Institue in Mexico with a weekly cost of $6000.00 USD and there is a 2-week minimum stay required for most patients.  Her most recent treatment, a vitamin infusion treatment, had to be postponed due to lack of funds. 
Deyanira is a wonderful mom, wife and a woman of strong faith. Even through this challenging time in her life, she is there to support her friends and family and in meeting her, you would never know she is fighting probably the biggest battle of her life.

"Mi nombre es Deyanira Cruz, tengo 53 años de edad, en abril del 2018 fui diagnosticada con cancer en el colon.
