Dexters eye removal surgery

Donation protected
Dexter is our 4 year old chorkie. He is a special needs dog since birth. He was born with epilepsy, has a lot of neurological issues, and needs 24/7 care. On August 31st around 8:30 pm,we were eating dinner together and sharing our bread with the other animals when our lab grabbed the bread from dexter and accidentally bit his face causing dexters eye to pop out. We rushed him to the vet and waited forever for them to tell us there was nothing they could do because they didn’t have a surgeon. We ended up driving dexter to Brooklyn to a 24 hour hospital where there was a surgeon willing to fix dexter right away. Turns out dexter suffered a fractured nose and  proptosis of the eye. His eye injury was so severe it couldn’t be saved and had to be removed completely. His nose will heal on its on the doctor said. His surgery went well and he is home resting the best he can and he goes back in two weeks to have the stitches removed. We are asking if anyone could possibly donate to dexters medical bills as they are a bit high for us and we had to borrow the money to pay in full up front or dexter wouldn’t be able to undergo surgery. This was such an unexpected accident, anything will be greatly appreciated!
