Great Lakes Wealth's Community Fundraiser

Donation protected
Please help us celebrate Great Lakes Wealth’s five-year anniversary! Great Lakes Wealth is turning five years old and time sure flies when you’re having fun! We opened our doors on July 1, 2016 and have been providing Wall Street solutions with Main Street values ever since! To celebrate, we’ve decided to involve our clients, business partners, friends, and the entire community by organizing an ambitious fundraiser to benefit some local charities. Our CEO, Dewey D. Steffen, kicked off our fundraising efforts with a Birthday Bash event on June 5, which raised over $15,000, and…we’re just getting started!

Will you consider being radically generous and donating to support these five amazing local charities (and your community!), including Beaumont Children's Hospital, Schoolcraft College Foundation, Racquet Up Detroit, Lucky Fin Project, and the DAC Foundation? $50,000 may be a lofty goal, but if 350 people donate $100, 140 people donate $250, or if 70 people donate $500… then we'll get there. Let’s do this! Please help and donate today! We can provide donation information direct to the charities, as well - just let us know.

Some more information on the charities...

Lucky Fin Project: Lucky Fin Project is a non-profit organization that raises awareness and celebrates children born with symbrachydactyly and other limb differences. They create a support network for parents that connects them with medical information, education, and resources. To learn more, visit: https://luckyfinproject.org

Schoolcraft College Foundation: A community college established in 1951 and also one of Dewey's alma maters. In 1990 and '91, Dewey was the captain of the Schoolcraft College golf team, and now is a member of their Planned Giving Committee. Knowing the obstacles a full-time student athlete must overcome, Dewey would like to give back by offering an annual scholarship to one qualifying student athlete.

Beaumont Children's Hospital/Children's Miracle Network: Dewey became a trustee of Beaumont a decade ago - this organization holds a special place in his heart. Part of Beaumont Health and the only CMN partner hospital in southeast Michigan, BCH sees 200,000 children and teens each year. Specially trained, in-house pediatricians, nurses, and clinicians oversee care at Beaumont Hospitals in Royal Oak, Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Grosse Pointe, Trenton, Troy, and Wayne, as well as outpatient care across the region. To learn more, visit https://www.beaumont.org/services/childrens and https://www.beaumont.org/services/childrens/about/childrens-miracle-network

Racquet Up Detroit: A non-profit organization that offers youth an inspiring path to education and opportunity.  Racquet Up Detroit ensures students receive intensive academic and literacy support, college access and career pathway resources, plus offers fitness and wellness training in the form of squash instruction and competition. To learn more, visit https://racquetup.org/

DAC Foundation: A non-profit organization founded in 1999 whose mission is to preserve the legacy of philanthropy and support of amateur athletics instituted by the Detroit Athletic Club's founders. DAC Foundation donations fund the awards program and provide scholarships for the finalists of the DAC’s annual Michigan High School Athlete of the Year award, which recognizes exceptional scholar-athletes.
