Devoted wife and super hero

My dear friend, Jennifer Kambas, is one of the most devoted wives I have ever had the pleasure to know. She has been a fantastic friend and is one of the most brilliant people I know. She has been caring for her husband, Michael, who has MS for over a decade. She has also been the sole breadwinner raising a daughter (now in college) for about that long. Things have become increasingly difficult for her as she recently needed to take on a full-time job at a bakery, as her long-time work as an in-language DTP expert has been waning. Michael's condition has now worsened to include stage 4 cancer. He has returned home from the hospital for an undetermined time.

I am asking that you donate money to this cause to enable Jennifer to stay at home for more of the time Michael has left to care for him.

Many of you know her from having worked with her. For those of you who don't know Jennifer, I'd like to give you an idea of who this woman is, by sharing this message to me form her:

"We are all doing well considering the circumstances, really. We do not fear death, which is the biggest thing. We do not fear what might come; we are sad if we get separated for a time. As things get more difficult, I'm sure that the stress will make me lose my perspective, but right now, all three of us have our minds and hearts in the right place".

"I really do appreciate your prayers. Michael was able to come home from the hospital with the caveat that his sodium levels go up (they gave us medicine), and calcium stays down. We're working on it. We have a string of appointments with the oncologist, who is a lovely man, to see what else we can do. Michael's got advanced lung cancer that has metastasized (spelling?) into his hip bone, and he cannot have chemo because of his MS".
