Devon Michael Boyles crossed over on Tuesday, 31 October, 2017, due to complications
from congestive heart disease. He was our son, our brother, our father, our husband, our
friend. He was always ready to help anyone, anytime; if he didn't already know the answer to
your problem, he had the tenacity to find the solution. Devon was born 19 October, 1974, to Gary and Linda Boyles. He was the youngest of five
brothers, and lived his entire life in Lancaster. Gifted with manual dexterity and a "can do"
attitude, Devon tinkered with, built, and/or rebuilt countless items in his short life. His wood-
working talent led to him to being listed in "Who's Who Among American High School Students” in 1992.
Devon lived his life his way. To be one of his friends or family members was a true blessing. He was witty, intelligent, loving, devoted, and just a little sarcastic. He did not let early in life
setbacks deter him from moving forward; again, he was tenacious.
Devon was predeceased by his father Gary W Boyles, Sr. He is survived by Rose,
his mother Linda, daughter Allyssa, grandson Kaden; brothers Gary Jr., David, Chad, and Jeff;
several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends "I can't believe you're gone. Rest in peace, Daddy. I love you."
"It's okay Mommy…we'll see him again in heaven." "I will love you through all eternity. I will be yours forever. I will be with you, beside you, and
behind you ALWAYS. I am you, as you are me. Goodnight, Devon, my sweet gentle giant. I love you." In the words of the late Tom Petty: " You've got a heart so big, it can crush this town."

As many of you know funeral expences can leave a massive burden on those left behind. Expences such as cremation, memorial costs, food for said service, obituary, as well as left over medical bills. Any help given would be greatly apreciated by all those that carry this financial burden and those that carry Devons memory.
