Devastating incident at DBAT

Early morning hours of 11/1, a vehicle ripped through D-BAT Billings, causing extensive damages and loss. If you’ve been to D-BAT, you know the kind of place it is. The employees are kind, helpful and caring. The facility is always clean and inviting, it truly has been a cornerstone for the Billings community. D-BAT offers up their space for free tryouts, holiday events, they work with the special olympics and other groups throughout Billings. Recently, D-BAT won the Gazette’s Best Place for Family Fun and Best Place For a Child’s birthday party.

You may not know, D-BAT is family run, by owners Brandon and Elly Wood, they employ Elly’s Mom, Wendi, and Father Robb, along with a couple other staff members who have become a close knit team. There is no timeline on when D-BAT will be up and running again, as the investigation is ongoing and the damages will surely take months to repair. Let’s support this local, family ran business, who provides a safe and fun environment for our kids and truly makes Billings a better place.
