Though the loss is overwhelming, she remains profoundly grateful that her children survived. Their safety is her only comfort in the midst of unimaginable devastation.

She is a passionate advocate for families impacted by family policing, a supporter and mentor for adoptive children and youth who have aged out of foster care, and a dedicated mental health peer expert who has helped countless people navigate trauma, uncertainty, and hardship.
