Devastating fire at Casa Zen -Bob Hannaford's home
Donation protected
Hi all, in the early morning hours on Saturday (Veterans day ) Bob and Adriana and their two dogs were upstairs asleep and were awakend to know that their home, Casa Zen, was on fire. They barely escaped before the entire place was completely engulfed with flames. They grabbed CoCo and were frantically looking for their other dog, but unfortunately could not find it before they had to evacuate. They are left with nothing. No phones, no computer, none of their personal possessions. Nothing. There is no insurance on Casa Zen, or their belongings, so will need to start over completely.
Bob has always been a huge giver to his community and to his friends and asked me not to do this, as he never wanted to reach out for help. But as a community of people that love each other so dearly, how could I not set this up for him in this dire time of need?!
They are safe, and that's the most important part. They will need a new place to live and money to help get back all that they lost, at least to some degree. They are both sad about their possessions, but mostly about their dog they lost. I cannot imagine the pain they must feel. This will at least help alleviate the stress of having to start over, while they mend their broken hearts.
Donate what you can and any surplus in funds will be recycled back into the spirit of giving to others.
Thank you so much,
Meredith
