Update:

I thought Deva was just going in for an emergency splenectomy.  But once they got the spleen out, they noticed a mass by her aorta.  It apparently had ruptured, but clotted a while ago, but that clot caused another rupture.  There was too much damage and she lost a lot of blood.  

I was waiting on the vet to call me to see how she did after surgery.  One of the vet tech's called me and I could tell by the sound of her voice that she was gone or about to be. They asked if I wanted them to do CPR, but she was too far gone already.  

I still had to pay for the splenectomy and all the other costs, as well as for her cremation.  

Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
