<div>Wij zijn Stichting De Terugwinning. We begeleiden mensen met onbenut talent naar een zinvolle bijdrage aan de maatschappij. We geven waarde terug aan reststromen als hout, textiel, fietsen, huisraad en meubels. Daarbij bieden we steun aan mensen in armoede.

<div>In december 2022 zijn wij gestart met een proef in de gemeente Woerden. We redden bruikbare spullen van de milieustraat en verkochten deze voor een betaalbare prijs in de Voorstraat. Helaas is de huur van een pand in de winkelstraat, ondanks de hoge leegstand, te hoog voor ons als stichting om te kunnen betalen. Tot grote teleurstelling van velen moesten wij daarom in maart 2024 onze deuren sluiten. Dit betekent ook dat we de spullen die we verzamelen van de milieustraat niet meer kwijt kunnen.

<div>Met steun van jullie - inwoners - kunnen we voor <em>een langere periode</em> terugkomen in de winkelstraat. In een tijd waarin hergebruik de norm moet worden, hoort een kringloopwinkel gewoon in het hart van de stad. Alle spullen die je nodig hebt, bestaan al; ze zijn alleen nog niet op de juiste plek. Daar gaan wij voor zorgen!

<div><strong>Met jouw donatie koop je een tegoedbon voor de winkel.</strong> Hiermee kunnen we de huur betalen van het pand centraal in de Rijnstraat, hopelijk voor een periode van 5 jaar. Hier koop je geen <em>schadelijke China shit</em>, maar red je juist grondstoffen. Jij helpt ons deze tweedehands artikelen betaalbaar te houden.
