Esta historia tocó las fibras más profundas de mi corazón y agradecería immensamente su colaboración.
Rosario y Ricardo son un matrimonio de cubanos que recientemente perdieron todo lo que tenían luego de que un fuego accidental se propagara sin control en su casa. Ambos son personas con discapacidades mentales que no pueden trabajar y viven de la pensión del gobierno y de una ayuda de nuestra familia que vive en USA. Esas ayudas solo alcanzan para cubrir los gastos imprescindibles. Ellos viven en pobreza extrema y durante estos días han sido acogidos por vecinos y familiares, quienes les han provisto de alimentos y techo. Su casa quedó inhabitable después del fuego y lo único que pudieron salvar fue su colchón. Aunque están agradecidos por estar vivos, se sienten tristes de haber perdido lo poco que tenían. Yo soy su sobrina, y decidí crear este sitio para que todo el que tenga en su corazón el deseo de colaborar pueda hacer su donación aquí. Cualquier monto es aceptado, así sea un dólar. Mi anhelo es recaudar el dinero necesario para repararles su casita y si es posible comparles los efectos eléctricos imprescindibles para su hogar. Estoy confiada en que con el apoyo de la comunidad llegaremos a la meta para llevar a Rosario y a Ricardo de las ruinas a un hogar. This story touched the most profound fibers of my heart and I would really appreciate your support.
Rosario and Ricardo are a cuban couple who recently lost everything they had after a fire propagated inside their house. They both are mentally disabled and cannot work. They survive on a government stipend and some money that our family from the USA send them. Those helps are only enough to cover the basics. They live in extreme poverty and during these difficult days they have been welcomed and supported by neighbors and family members, who have provided them with food and a roof. Their house is inhabitable after the fire and the only thing they could save was their mattress. Although they are grateful for being alive, they are also very sad because they lost everything. I am their niece, and I decided to create this fundraising so all of you who want to collaborate can make your donations here. Any amount is welcomed, even one dollar. Mi desire is to raise the amount necessary to repair the damages and also to buy the most important housewares. I am sure that with the support of the community we will reach the goal and we will be able to help Rosario and Ricardo so they can have their little house back.
