The impact of Covid continues to negatively impact our fundraising efforts and donations, while increasing the demand for intakes and surrenders. MHAA strives to help as many cats as possible without compromising the quality of care, but we are in a financial crisis. We have been operating in a deficit most months this year and have been forced to deplete our small savings account. Our mission is unsustainable without a large influx of funding. Our goal is to raise $70,000, half of which will cover medical and veterinary expenses through the end of the year.
