Getting my Life On Track

Donation protected

Hi friends...So I lost my job in October of last year due to my incompetence and made a mistake on some of the tickets I was supposed to complete before I ended my shift. I own that it was my mistake and accepted my firing. But I expected to get unemployment insurance to hold me over till I found a new job. Unfortunately, the AMAZING INDIVIDUALS at E********* Wireless decided to mark my incompetence as “Misconduct” which legally bars me from collecting unemployment.

I was slow some days due to my mental disability (I’m bipolar) and I informed my employer of this when they complained about my lack of productivity. I was TOLD when I got hired my disability/slow work days won’t be punished but it still happened. I don’t want to dwell on it forever. I’ve been looking for work months and haven’t had luck due to living in Chicago in 2020(and you know…COVID)

NOW, that court is settled and I've managed to get a steady unemployment income going....i have a new issue...I need to get a better job...I'm able to scrape by with what I'm making now to pay rent and such but I need to get an education/certification so I can WORK and make real money and finally afford to get out of this....hell pit I've been stuck in since I was 19.

I need money to take a coding bootcamp and REALLY push myself out of this hole. I would be taking a full time course and immerse myself in a program that allows me to get a job in the industry I would excel in. College is not the route for me. I'm not meant  to be in the environment. I do better in a place where I can focus on a tangible goal and REALLY push myself to get there. I know this is what I need to do.

So in order to get into a program, I really need money. I have 2 options, pay off my current debts(old credit cards and electric bill) or pay upfront. If I can get enough money to pay off my credit issues, I'd be eligible to get an ISA agreement and that would pay my way through a program, rent and food needs included. If I get a full 20k however, I can just afford to pay upfront and sustain myself for the 5 months I need to complete the program.

I know this is a lot to ask but I'm desperate to finally get my life on track. I need this to finally push myself over this hump and do what I've always wanted to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.
