Desperate for heat

We are a family of six with four children under ten and we are very chilly.  Our only source of heat, our fireplace, has been deemed unsafe after an inspection and we haven't been able to get the repairs done before the snow arrived. The estimate given to reline the entire chimney is between $8000-$10,000. Currently we have only one kerosene heater going and a few small space heaters but the windows all have ice on the inside and we simply cannot spend the entire winter like this. We are absolutely desperate for help. Any help is deeply appreciated.
