Hello!
My name is Andre Martinez, and I am a Senior Film Production student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I have been producing content for as long as I can remember, including a feature film in high school, along with countless shorts and webisodes. This year, I am producing my senior thesis film, Desolate. Desolate is an 8 minute horror/military/scifi short film, with zero dialogue as required by the university.
The story? We follow Ryan, a member of his local militia tasked with investigating a possible alien crash landing, not knowing what horror he will discover…
Where do you come in? The production team and I need help to raise $4,500 to reach production. Specifically, we need to secure locations, transport, and generators. PD (production design), makeup, and other production costs are included. We're shooting out in the visually astounding Lancaster area.
