My name is Ali. I’m a 27-year old artist , musician & theatre performer moving from California to Iowa.
I'm driving cross-country with sound equipment, art supplies, my clothing, a stuffed animal...and that's pretty much it! I’m basically starting completely over.
Because I've been a full-time theatre performer & musician, finding steady work has changed dramatically since March for me.
My goal of $5000 covers my two months of rent & utilities, living expenses, and key items (like a bed) while living alone for the very first time starting in October. It also allows me a cushion to secure sustainable income.
