Desire's excision surgery

Hi family and friends, 
As many of you may know, our sweet des has been fighting an ongoing battle with her health for well over 10 years. Endometriosis is an extremely painful disease that so many women face daily. Des has an incredibly progressed case of this disease, coupled with Polycystic ovary syndrome AND fibromyalgia. All of this has landed her in the hospital more times then anyone should ever have to count. She has been forced to leave the job she loved, as well as spend numerous days in pain. Des has visited so many doctors to try and find answers to help cope with her pain. She has had surgeries to try and reduce the pain starting in 2003. Recently a doctor was able to give her news that any patient battling chronic pain would want to hear. There’s hope. Excision surgery is a new way that has been known to relieve patients with endometriosis. Since this is a rather new procedure only certain qualified surgeons will preform it, but in a nut shell they will attempt to remove the cells from the root in order to prevent regrowth. Unfortunately insurance does not cover this surgery. I know we can come together to raise this money for des and Ryan so that her life can literally be changed forever. She finally has options to live a life where she isn’t as worried about chronic pain. Nobody should have to wake up wondering if the day will be too painful to face, or if they will be able to finish their shift at work due to pain. Every day is a new battle for those battling chronic pain, and to know there are options to help relieve her pain is seriously an answered prayer. Anything and everything that is donated will go toward this life changing opportunity and will be forever appreciated. If anyone is deserving of something like this, its desire. All the costs of surgery, travel expenses, and time off work will be around $18,000-20,000.
