Desi is going in for surgery

Desi was just admitted to Littleton Equine Hospital, and we need your help. He is a very sweet chestnut gelding, and a favorite around the barn. Desi has shown great ability to teach students of all levels, including jumping. He has also represented our horses off site at local and IEA shows, where he always performs admirably.

Desi was found cast in his stall early one December morning, with his hind leg stuck and elevated in the wood panel. Upon examination of two veterinarians, and weeks of treatment at home, it was determined that he needed to be moved to the vet hospital's surgery center. His treatment has already totaled over $1000, and increases by approximately $2000/day, but we are determined to provide him with the best chance we can to recover.

He is our teammate, and we love him very much. If you would like to take part in his recovery, please donate. Any amount is helpful!
