<div>Soy Manuel Rubio N&uacute;&ntilde;ez, tengo 21 a&ntilde;os, vivo en Valencia (Espa&ntilde;a) y padezco una malformaci&oacute;n arteriovenosa que me impide andar con normalidad y permanecer de pie varias horas seguidas. Adem&aacute;s, esta enfermedad me provoca frecuentes y, en ocasiones, insoportables dolores. Actualmente, este diagn&oacute;stico no tiene cura en Espa&ntilde;a, donde los casos como el m&iacute;o suelen terminar con la amputaci&oacute;n de la extremidad afectada. Pero yo no estoy dispuesto a rendirme. S&eacute; que en otros pa&iacute;ses existen tratamientos con posibilidades reales de salvar mi pie, aunque son econ&oacute;micamente inaccesibles para m&iacute;. Por eso necesito tu ayuda, para luchar por una oportunidad y cambiar este destino.

<div>Desde peque&ntilde;o, era un chico normal, apasionado por el f&uacute;tbol, y so&ntilde;aba con ser futbolista. Sin embargo, a los 11 a&ntilde;os mi vida cambi&oacute; dr&aacute;sticamente. Mi pie izquierdo comenz&oacute; a hincharse inexplicablemente de la noche a la ma&ntilde;ana. Los m&eacute;dicos inicialmente diagnosticaron un esguince y luego tendinitis, pero las medidas tomadas no mejoraban mi condici&oacute;n. Durante unas vacaciones en mi pueblo, Albacete, descubr&iacute; que el vendaje empeoraba el problema. Al quitarlo y sumergir el pie en agua fr&iacute;a, la hinchaz&oacute;n disminuy&oacute; temporalmente. Sin embargo, al regresar a Valencia, mi pie empeor&oacute; a&uacute;n m&aacute;s, volvi&eacute;ndose morado.

<div>Tras m&uacute;ltiples consultas y pruebas en el hospital, finalmente me diagnosticaron una malformaci&oacute;n arteriovenosa. Aunque inicialmente me aseguraron que no deber&iacute;a empeorar y solo necesitaba adaptarme a un estilo de vida diferente, el problema persisti&oacute; y empeor&oacute;.

<div>Con los a&ntilde;os, mi pie se deterior&oacute; significativamente, desarrollando &uacute;lceras dolorosas. A los 18 a&ntilde;os, los m&eacute;dicos descubrieron que la malformaci&oacute;n hab&iacute;a alcanzado el hueso. La &uacute;nica soluci&oacute;n que me ofrecieron fue una medicaci&oacute;n similar a la quimioterapia, sin garant&iacute;as de mejora. Al desconfiar de esta opci&oacute;n, fui derivado a un especialista en Madrid, quien me inform&oacute; que, de no operarme, perder&iacute;a el pie en poco tiempo.

<div>Durante tres a&ntilde;os, viaj&eacute; constantemente a Madrid para someterme a varias cirug&iacute;as que parec&iacute;an mejorar mi situaci&oacute;n. Sin embargo, al retomar mis estudios en Valencia, el pie volvi&oacute; a abrirse. Las soluciones propuestas no ofrec&iacute;an garant&iacute;as y, debido a limitaciones econ&oacute;micas, no pude considerar opciones m&aacute;s costosas como un trasplante de hueso en una cl&iacute;nica privada en Navarra.

<div>Actualmente, mi m&eacute;dico me ha dicho que mi caso no tiene cura en Espa&ntilde;a y que mi &uacute;nica opci&oacute;n podr&iacute;a ser la amputaci&oacute;n. Sin embargo, tras investigar y contactar a especialistas, s&eacute; que en pa&iacute;ses como Alemania y Estados Unidos hay tratamientos avanzados con casos de &eacute;xito. El problema es que estos tratamientos son econ&oacute;micamente inaccesibles para m&iacute; y mi familia.

<div>Mi situaci&oacute;n personal tambi&eacute;n es complicada. Estoy completando mis estudios de Formaci&oacute;n Profesional mientras vivo con un familiar que asume mis gastos, ya que mi madre, que es soltera, est&aacute; desempleada y cuida de otro familiar dependiente. Esta situaci&oacute;n ha afectado mi desarrollo profesional y limita enormemente mi d&iacute;a a d&iacute;a, ya que requiero m&uacute;ltiples curas diarias y sufro dolores constantes.

<div>As a child, I was a normal boy, passionate about soccer, and dreamed of becoming a professional player. However, my life changed drastically at age 11. My left foot started swelling inexplicably overnight. Doctors initially diagnosed it as a sprain and later as tendinitis, but the prescribed treatments didn&rsquo;t improve my condition. During a vacation in my hometown, Albacete, I discovered that the bandage worsened the issue. Removing it and immersing my foot in cold water temporarily reduced the swelling. However, when I returned to Valencia, my foot worsened further, turning purple.

<div>After multiple consultations and hospital tests, I was finally diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation. Initially, I was assured it wouldn&rsquo;t worsen, and I just needed to adapt to a different lifestyle,

<div>Over the years, my foot deteriorated significantly, developing painful ulcers. At 18, doctors discovered that the malformation had reached the bone. The only solution they offered was a medication similar to chemotherapy, with no guarantee of improvement. Skeptical of this option, I was referred to a specialist in Madrid who informed me that without surgery, I would lose my foot soon.

<div>For three years, I traveled constantly to Madrid for several surgeries that seemed to improve my situation. However, when I resumed my studies in Valencia, my foot reopened. The proposed solutions offered no guarantees, and due to financial limitations, I couldn&rsquo;t consider more expensive options like a bone transplant at a private clinic in Navarra.

<div>Currently, my doctor has told me that my case has no cure in Spain and that amputation might be my only option. However, after researching and contacting specialists, I&rsquo;ve learned that advanced treatments with successful outcomes exist in countries like Germany and the United States. The challenge is that these treatments are financially unattainable for me and my family.

<div>My personal situation is also challenging. I am completing my vocational training while living with a relative who covers my expenses, as my mother, a single parent, is unemployed and cares for another dependent family member. This situation has affected my professional development and greatly limits my daily life, as I require multiple daily wound dressings and endure constant pain.
