<div>The International Observatory for the Rights of Nature has been working since 2018 to have the legal personhood and rights of the St. Lawrence River and the Rivers of the World recognized, in order to better protect these living environments. Inspired by the case of New Zealand (Whanganui River), the Atrato River in Colombia and the Magpie River (Mutehekau Shipu) in Canada, we are taking steps in concert with First Nations to provoke a paradigm shift in Canada. A volunteer team is dedicated to this mission, made up mainly of women from diverse backgrounds. Support our work to bring about a paradigm shift towards ecological transition.
