Des and Christine (Chris) Dolley

Christine (Chris) and Des are Toowoomba/Westbrook locals who have had a real rough time of late. Chris was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 and undertook a lumpectomy that year. In June 2016, Des was diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer and undertook surgery in October of that year to remove the cancer (and most of his Oesophagus and some of his stomach). Chris has, as recently as August 2017,  been diagnosed with breast cancer again (the other breast) and has completed another lumpectomy. On the 31st August during his review Des was advised that his cancer has spread around his body and the prognosis is not good. To top this off, Chris is in the process of preparing for a double mastectomy with Des trying to be as supportive as he can with no thought for himself. These lovely people could do with any support you can offer with the funds being used to assist Des and Chris with medical expenses, travelling expenses and care for them both whilst Chris recouperates. They would be the last people to ask for help and would be blown away with anything that came their way.
