<div>As many of you know I am celebrating a big birthday this year, so to mark this milestone and challenge myself, I have decided to run the Derry Half Marathon on the Sunday 6th September.

<div>More importantly, I am running to raise vital funds for the Donegal Hospice, an organization that is incredibly close to mine and my families hearts. The fabulous staff at the hospice took amazing care of my Dad during his final days, almost 14 years ago, bringing him and our family immense comfort, at the most heart breaking stage of his life. The work they do is absolutely priceless, and I want to use this challenge as a small way of giving back in his memory.
