In Loving Memory – Derrick Edward Hodge
Derrick Edward Hodge, 52, of Harrisburg, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Monday, April 22, 2019.
He leaves to celebrate his life a son, Diamond E. Hodge, bonus son Antonio Clark, bonus daughters Brandi Young and Eboni Brooks, mother and stepfather Linda and James Collier, niece Ahnyea Edwards, nephews Antionne Edwards and Armoni Ferrell, grandnephew, Antionne Edwards Jr., grandniece Aubree Edwards, grandmother, Vivian Smith, uncle Teddy Joppy and aunt and uncle Shirley and Ronald Yates of Harrisburg, Robyn and Shelley Joppy, and Joy Washington who were as close as sisters to Derrick.
Derrick leaves behind many cousins, nieces, dear friends, godchildren and a host of other relatives.
Derrick’s funeral was held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Steelton (1850 S. 19th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104).
Derrick had experienced several medical setbacks and most recently was receiving dialysis three times a week while completing his degree at the Harrisburg Area Community College.
This GoFundMe campaign was established for those who wish to support Derrick's son, Diamond, and to offset expenses related to his funeral proceedings.
