Derek's funeral

As some of you may know, my brother, Derek Kwan has recently passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Derek was only 26 and was taken away from us way too soon. I wish he could’ve seen how much more this world had to offer him. It wasn’t always easy growing up with him but there were a lot of memories shared. Whether they were good or bad, he always found a way to start talking to us again. He will always be my brother and forever be part of this family. For those with memories of him, please cherish the fond memories of Derek and remember the times when he positively impacted your life. If there's one thing about Derek, he always brought laughter to the table by reminiscing about the past. Although he struggled with his demons, we knew deep down he was always the brother and son we knew and loved. My family and I would like to thank you all for the support and love we have received during this painful time - we are forever grateful.
