Derek's fight to play

When you think about life it can come in waves of good and bad, sometimes it will have tears and laughter sometimes it has hurdles most of those hurdles we overcome. I have a heart sister, she was chosen for me from love not blood. My heart sister has a little boy Derek, his a battler Derek suffers from multiple physical struggles. Derek can not walk on his own, he struggles with food and can not speak. Derek can smile he can play he can sit and he has been given a mummy that loves him siblings that adore him and a daddy that works late nights overtime and weekends just so he can afford the treatments classes and sessions derek needs to get through what we all take for granted in life. Derek's birthday is coming up and as easy as it is to buy a simple toy I thought it would be great if we could all chip in to assist this family with a gift to help to make a dream a reality where he can walk with a special mobility device and some physiotherapy play equipment. Doctors have broken this families hearts recently by filling in a form which they put N/A as an answer to will this child survive. Could you imagine not knowing if your child will make it to 3? Not knowing if what you are doing will make it better?  Spending hours and hours at specialist play centers spending $200 on physio every time they go which is more than once a week just in Hope's that you take away an inch of struggle for your child. Without these answers the Ross family still smile they group together and love this little one more than anyone could, let's give them some extra love and bring a rainbow to their thunderstorms.
