Derek Grant Memorial

Exactly one week ago today, my cousin and best friend, received the worst news imaginable. With 2 police officers showing up at her door early Monday morning, she was told that her husband, Derek 40, had past away suddenly and unexpectedly. The family is still waiting for some answers, but they do know that a large clot was found outside his heart. Derek leaves behind not only Jasmine, but 3 beautiful young kids ages 5,7 and 8. I am hoping this page can raise some money to put towards the immediate costs of having a memorial as well as hopefully contributing to a trust for the kids. Derek was just an absolutely amazing guy. Words can't express how much he is missed.
Money raised will be deposited into a Trust account that has been set up by Jasmine with the TD Bank here in Victoria BC .
