Tri-State K9 CRT Deployment to Lake Charles, LA

This deployment has been 2 years in the making. Tri-State Canine Response Team was initially requested to deploy to Louisiana after the Lake Charles area was hit by major hurricanes during 2019. Then Covid hit. Unfortunately, this year the area was also hit hard by Hurricane Ida and most recently tornados. We are pleased to say that we are finally able to send Tri-State Crisis Response Teams and additional Crisis Counselors into the area. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will help defray the costs of this deployment. Pleases help us help this community that has been ravaged again and again.
On our way to Louisiana we were invited to spend some time with the Houston Police Department. Last weekend 8 people died and numerous others were seriously injured as a result of a crowd surge at a concert at NRG Stadium. Before driving from Houston to Lake Charles, we will also be going to the temporary memorial that is set up to provide comfort, support & psychological first aid to the community.
