Deployment to Dominica with CRI

I am deploying as a volunteer responder with Crisis Response International (CRI) to Dominica to help with Hurricane Maria disaster relief. This small island is still reeling from this category 5 hurricane that destroyed the Island and left it in ruins. CRI has been looking for an opportunity to bring aid since the September hurricane, but the doors were closed at that time, so we focused on Puerto Rico instead. But now the doors are open for a small team of CRI responders to offer aid to Dominica from January 24-February 3, and I will be a part of that team. Our mission is to bring in disaster relief items and assistance to the Dominican people in whatever manner we can, as well as to rebuild the roof of a church in Portsmouth.

As a volunteer, I have to cover all of my own expenses. The funds raised will cover airfare, local transportation, meals, lodging, relief/roofing supplies, and deployment fees. Any donations above these expenses I will donate directly to CRI and fellow responders to enable them to also help hurricane victims in Dominica. Your support will enable me to get my "boots on the ground" as soon as possible so that I may offer assistance to the many who have lost everything and need a helping hand. Thank you in advance for your donation.
