Dental Volunteer Trip to Guatemala!

Dear Friends and Family,
I have always had a passion and desire to volunteer for a mission trip abroad. I have finally discovered a wonderful opportunity to help improve children’s health abroad through an organization called Global Dental Relief (GDR)!
Global Dental Relief’s mission is to bring free dental care to children throughout the world. Volunteer dentists, hygienists, assistants and non-dental volunteers deliver treatment and preventive care in dental clinics that serve children in schools, orphanages and remote villages. With a vision to transform lives and cultivate community through volunteerism, they provide opportunities for diverse groups of volunteers to explore the world and bring free dental care and oral hygiene education to thousands of impoverished children in Nepal, India, Guatemala, Kenya and Cambodia.
I have been given the amazing opportunity this year to volunteer in Guatemala from November 18th-27th! Not only will I be able to use my knowledge and skills to help others, I will have the opportunity to explore and experience a new country. Unfortunately, all of GDR programs are run solely by volunteer contributions, and therefore this trip comes with a fee. In order to make this dream a reality, I need your help! The fee for this one week program, including meals, lodging, and in-country transportation, totals $1,980 (not including roundtrip airfare).
I would love and appreciate any donation to help me fulfill this lifelong goal. No donation is too small! This has been a great dream of mine for some time now and I am so happy you can all be apart of this journey with me!
